Job summary
FindingVega is seeking a senior, org-wide technical leader to set the long-term direction for cloud, platform and DevOps across the business, acting as the go-to authority on AWS architecture, Kubernetes strategy and platform design.
You will lead cross-team initiatives to improve reliability, scalability, security and delivery efficiency, establish engineering standards, and partner with Engineering & Product leadership to align platform strategy with the wider business.
Qualifications
- 9+ years in DevOps/Platform engineering with leadership experience.
- Expert working knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s).
- Practical agentic AI experience, ideally across an organisation.

This is a senior, org-wide technical leadership role rather than a single-team position. You'll set the long-term direction for cloud, platform and DevOps practices across the business, acting as the go-to authority on AWS architecture, K8s strategy and platform design. You'll lead cross-team initiatives to improve reliability, scalability, security and delivery efficiency, establish engineering standards, and partner with Engineering & Product leadership to keep platform strategy aligned with the wider business. Expect to spot architectural risk and technical debt before it becomes a delivery problem, shape build-vs-buy and tooling decisions, and mentor engineers across teams. You'll stay hands-on for high impact design and hard technical problems, rather than day-to-day ownership.
- 9+ years in DevOps/Platform engineering, with some time spent leading or setting direction.
- Expert working knowledge of K8s.
- Practical agentic AI experience, ideally introducing solutions across an organisation.
