Job summary

Deutsche Börse Group is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to lead end-to-end DevOps activities across our platform in Ireland. The role emphasizes containerization, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies like OpenShift, Argo CD, and Kubernetes.

You will manage Jenkins/Argo CD pipelines, automate builds and deployments, and ensure stable releases while collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams. A strong security mindset and experience with IaC are essential.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to lead and support end-to-end DevOps activities across our platform. The role requires strong expertise in containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies such as OpenShift, Argo CD, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Argo CD
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Ensure smooth and stable production releases across multiple environments
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and OpenShift/Kubernetes
• Develop and maintain Helm charts for application deployment
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability across environments
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
• Lead DevOps activities including build, deployment, and environment management
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders
• Develop a strong understanding of the business domain to align technical solutions with business needs

Qualifications

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Argo CD
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms
• Solid knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker
• Experience creating and managing Helm charts
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Shell) for automation and troubleshooting
• Experience managing production environments and deployments
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Understanding of security concepts and DevSecOps practices
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work across multiple environments and systems
