Job summary

Sisk Group is seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead the design delivery across multiple projects in the Ireland East region. You will oversee pre-construction and design processes, liaise with clients, design consultants and internal teams to ensure compliance, value, and timely delivery.

The role is client-facing with a focus on coordinating design across buildings, facades and internal processes, requiring strong governance of design information and collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in construction related discipline with minimum 10 years’ experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement routes and contractual administration.
• Experience with design stage workflows (RIBA/RIAI/PWC) and D&B, EPC/EPCM.
• Ability to liaise between the client, design consultants and the project staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of effective design across multiple projects or a single large-scale project.
• Provide focus for and lead pre-construction and design processes, liaising with client and internal teams.
• Manage and mentor design teams to ensure they have necessary skills and resources.
• Oversee design compliance, buildability, safety and value for money across stages.
• Promote innovation in design management, methodology and processes, and ensure stakeholder engagement.
