Job summary

Sisk is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead on-site delivery in Cork, overseeing project execution, safety, quality and financial performance across civil engineering works. You will coordinate contract and design delivery, monitor progress, and ensure client expectations are met while safeguarding HSEQS standards.

The role requires NEC3/JCT contract knowledge, strong leadership, and a focus on value, risk management and profitable delivery.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in a construction-related field (ideally chartered).
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health & safety certification.
• Temporary Works Coordinator training and Excavation Safety training.
• Knowledge of live energy permits and safety compliance.
• Training in Working at Heights, scaffolding, and lifting operations.
• Familiarity with CDM/PSCS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead project programmes, method statements and contract submissions.
• Instruct the QS on major preliminary expenditure and negotiations.
• Chair start-up and progress meetings; coordinate resources with leadership.
• Oversee subcontract buying, notices, and site logistics with safety in mind.
• Lead PEPlanning, risk management, and HSEQS compliance across teams.
• Drive timely Practical Completion and handle close-out activities.
