Job summary

Archer Recruitment is assisting a leading global insurance organisation to hire a Senior Data Scientist for a Greenfield program in Ireland. The role offers a daily rate up to €600 and is part of a multi-year initiative to build AI-native insurance systems from the ground up.

You will shape the project from day one, design AI agents, and develop end-to-end AI solutions using Python, LangChain, LangGraph and RAG tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science, software engineering, or AI engineering.
• 2+ years direct LLM development experience.
• Strong Python experience.

Responsibilities

• Create AI agents with the programming background to implement the needed logic.
• Build and maintain RAG pipelines across a range of data sources and services.
• Design evaluation metrics and evaluation loops for LLM agents.
