Job summary

Archer Recruitment is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to own the technical direction of a next-generation AI platform for a global reinsurer. You will architect and evolve production AI systems, balancing agentic and conventional ML while remaining hands-on with code and production services.

You will lead the transformation from experimentation to enterprise-scale delivery, set architecture and engineering standards, drive MLOps and observability, and collaborate with data science

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of ML experience with Python in greenfield environments.
• Proven ability to deliver AI/ML solutions at scale.
• Experience with A2A (Agent-to-Agent Protocol) and cloud platforms.
• Strong AWS and/or Azure expertise.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve the production AI platform across deployment, reliability, and lifecycle management.
• Standardize CI/CD, environment management, and release processes for ML models.
• Drive MLOps, observability, monitoring, and incident response.
