Job summary

AECOM Belfast seeks an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist to lead design on large multi-disciplinary data centre projects across Europe. You will collaborate with engineering teams, oversee design information, and ensure quality while managing timelines.

The role involves travel across the UK, Ireland and Europe, with hybrid work options available and active participation in a global team delivering transformative infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Fully Qualified Architect or Technologist with chartered status or equivalent.
• Experience on large multi-disciplinary design projects, preferably data centres.
• Strong design management, technical detailing, and digital workflow.
• Proven ability to manage design delivery to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead design coordination across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ensure governance at bid and delivery stages.
• Present to clients and manage design documentation.
• Oversee CDM Safety in Design principles.
• Support Directors with technical excellence initiatives.
