Job summary

AECOM seeks a Principal Architect to lead large multi-disciplinary design projects, preferably data centres, across Ireland, the UK and Europe. You will collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to produce accurate design information and manage demanding timelines.

The role emphasizes technical excellence, design management, and experience with CSA bias. Travel across the UK, Ireland, and Europe is expected, with Belfast as a preferred base and Dublin, Manchester, and London also

Qualifications

• Fully Qualified Architect (ARB Registered) with proven experience in large multi-disciplinary design projects.
• Degree qualification, preferably Diploma or Masters in an architecture-related field.
• IT literate, with knowledge of CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead design within a multi-disciplinary team and coordinate across architectural and engineering outputs.
• Ensure governance at bid and delivery stages and present to clients.
• Support fee proposals, bids and monitor hours expended on projects.
• Mentor less experienced team members and lead verification activities.
