Job summary

DB Recruitment is seeking a senior data architecture leader to define and govern end-to-end data architecture for a complex transformation programme in Ireland. The role connects business requirements, platforms, integration services, data products, analytics and reporting through coherent models and clear standards.

The candidate will lead data modelling, define target-state architecture, design data domains and reusable data products, and ensure alignment of reporting with semantic models.

Qualifications

• Significant data architecture leadership experience within complex transformation programmes.
• Hands-on delivery experience in data architectures and platforms.
• Strong stakeholder leadership, modelling, integration, governance and design-assurance skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills and Fabric architecture experience are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Data architecture strategy and direction: Defining target-state and transition-state data architecture.
• Data modelling leadership: Leading conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling; mapping source-platform models to canonical, enterprise, analytical, and reporting models.
• Data as a product methodology: Designing business data domains and reusable data products.
• Reporting, insight, and analytics alignment: Aligning reporting and dashboard requirements with sustainable data and semantic models.
• Integration and data-flow architecture: Defining integration patterns and end-to-end data flows.
• Architecture governance and assurance: Establishing architecture standards and providing formal design assurance.
• Stakeholder and delivery leadership: Acting as the primary data architecture contact across business and technology workstreams; leading cross-functional architecture decisions across business and technology teams.
