Job summary

EY in Ireland is seeking a Senior Manager Data Architect to lead data modelling, governance and integration across client engagements. You will shape data architecture strategies, mentor consultants and drive data-centric transformations in collaboration with business stakeholders.

You’ll work within the Data Analytics & AI team across industries, building trusted relationships and delivering first-class outcomes on high-profile projects in a globally connected practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in data analysis and strategy with impactful storytelling from complex datasets.
• At least 2 years of consulting experience providing strategic guidance and hands-on implementation.
• Strong expertise in data modelling, database design, and SQL across multiple platforms.
• Experience in data governance, ETL, data integration and data warehouse design.
• Excellent client-facing skills and ability to lead and mentor a team of consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead diverse teams using different Data and Analytics technologies.
• Adapt leadership style to fit team and client needs, anticipate risks and issues.
• Coach junior members, share best practices and drive professional growth.
• Lead design and implementation of data artefacts: modelling, integration, storage and governance.
• Hands-on data modelling to create Enterprise Data Models.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Assess existing architectures and recommend remediation plans for data management.
• Develop data migration strategies and oversee migration activities with minimal disruption.
• Advise clients on data architecture, governance, quality and security.
• Stay current with trends and provide thought leadership to EY offerings.
