Job summary

Global Enterprise Partners is seeking an experienced Data Solution Architect for a large transformation programme in Dublin. You will design scalable data platforms, drive governance, and shape analytics capabilities across the business.

The role requires deep experience in data and solution architecture, cloud data ecosystems, security/compliance, and leadership of technical teams, with a focus on modern data products and cost optimisation.

Qualifications

• Strong background in data and solution architecture.
• Knowledge of modern cloud data ecosystems.
• Experience with data governance and data management practices.
• Understanding of data engineering and integration patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of security, risk, and compliance principles.
• Experience improving performance and optimising cloud costs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• 8+ years of technology experience.
• Experience in complex enterprise environments.
• TOGAF or similar architecture framework knowledge.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
• Retail, fashion, or e-commerce experience.
• Experience leading technical teams and influencing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define target data architecture and technology standards.
• Shape modern cloud data platforms and data products.
• Develop data models for reporting, analytics, and operational use cases.
• Drive data governance, quality, and discoverability initiatives.
• Work closely with engineering teams on automation, CI/CD, and IaC.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and resilience requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce platform costs.
• Support architecture governance and technical decision-making.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Provide architectural leadership throughout delivery.
