Job summary

Musgrave is seeking a Senior Data Architect in Ireland to define and own the data architecture for a cloud-based, enterprise-scale data platform. You will report to the Head of IT, Data & Analytics and guide data modelling, ingestion, and tooling choices across the business.

The role blends business strategy with technical direction, requiring collaboration with data engineering, analytics, and delivery teams. A hybrid work model and occasional travel to Cork are available.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience defining data architecture in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong background in data platforms, data modelling and distributed data systems.
• Experience designing scalable, cloud-based data architectures, ideally in Azure.
• Ability to translate business requirements into architectural designs and direction.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the data architecture strategy, standards and design principles.
• Lead the design of scalable data models, pipelines and data storage.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural blueprints.
• Provide technical leadership to data engineering, platform and delivery teams.
• Evaluate modern data technologies and integration patterns for the platform.
