Job summary

Synergy Recruitment Partners in Kilkenny, Ireland seek an experienced Industrial Contracts Manager to oversee contracts across Ireland in the water and wastewater sector. You will act as the primary liaison between the business and clients, drive operational excellence, and ensure compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Level 7/8 Degree in Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience in the water or wastewater industry.
• Demonstrated supervisory or management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Contract & Client Management: main client point of contact, prepare monthly reports, manage billing accuracy, negotiate contract variations.
• Operational & Team Leadership: lead cross-functional teams, supervise direct reports, coaching and reviews, objective setting, and support plant managers on site improvements.
• Commercial Support: assist with estimating, pricing, and quantity surveying for contract variations.
• Safety & Standards: ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and quality management systems (LRQA).
