Job summary

Gi Group in Dublin is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion. You will oversee site teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure safety, quality and contractual compliance across multiple projects.

The role requires a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership and negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver on demanding timelines with a focus on programme and cost control.

Qualifications

• Relevant third-level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Proven experience as Contracts Manager or senior construction management role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project delivery and programming.
• Strong understanding of contracts, obligations and project requirements.
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and decision‑making skills.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful running and delivery of construction projects from commencement through to completion.
• Ensure contractual obligations, project requirements and specifications are understood and adhered to.
• Monitor progress against programme, quality, commercial and delivery targets.
• Manage and support site management teams to keep projects on track.
• Oversee performance and coordination of subcontractors and key project stakeholders.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and resources for efficient delivery.
• Work with Quantity Surveying and commercial teams to monitor performance and contractual matters.
• Identify and address issues, risks and delays early.
• Maintain communication with clients, consultants and internal teams.
