Job summary

Purcell Construction is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead projects, keep programmes on track, and deliver on time and within budget. You will oversee safety, liaise with design and project teams, and represent the company in site meetings.

We value a degree in Construction or Engineering and a proven leadership track with strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities. This role requires a main contractor background and the ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction, Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years experience in Senior Management, including 3+ years as Contracts Manager in a Main Contractor background.
• Proven leadership with negotiation and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor overall safety on site and align with Safety Manager and EHS system.
• Prepare, issue and monitor construction programmes; liaise with Design Team and Project Manager.
• Represent the company at site meetings with Contractors Reports and Progress Reports.
• Monitor quality against drawings, specs, regulations and good building practice.
• Staff projects by liaising with Contracts Director to allocate resources.
• Maintain site records: diaries, allocation sheets, forms.
• Report to Contracts Director and Managing Director with weekly site/project updates.
• Coordinate with Contracts Director, Purchasing Manager, QS & Head Office for reports and services.
