Job summary

Purcell Construction is seeking a Design Manager for a Dublin/Leinster role. You will lead and manage the design process from tender through to project completion, coordinating design teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure fully integrated, compliant and construction-ready information.

You will hold a relevant degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management, with a minimum of 7 years in construction and at least 3 in a Design Management role, plus strong knowledge of

• 7+ years in the construction industry with relevant Design Management experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from tender through to project completion, ensuring programme and client requirements are met
• Coordinate design teams, consultants and subcontractors to deliver integrated, construction-ready information
• Manage design programmes, technical submissions, RFIs and design reviews
• Promote buildability, value engineering and risk management in line with Building Regulations and BCAR
• Act as design liaison between clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams throughout the lifecycle
