Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Lead Tech SRE based in Ireland to own architecture, delivery, and optimization of a growing cloud orchestration platform. This hands-on leadership role involves a small three-person SRE team, deep involvement in infrastructure design, automation, and incident response in a fully remote setup.

You will work with the CTO and security teams, drive the technical roadmap, and shape reliability, observability, and cloud cost optimization as the product moves from Beta to GA.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SRE, platform engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Experience leading a small engineering team to deliver reliable cloud platforms.
• Fluent English; ability to work in a fully remote international setting.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture of the cloud platform on GCP, including environments, clusters, and networks.
• Define the architectural roadmap from Beta to GA with reliability and cost balance.
• Lead a team of three, assign work, review implementations, and remove blockers.
• Define SLOs and error budgets; ensure observability and incident management.
• Implement Terraform modules, Helm charts, and GitOps practices; automate lifecycle management.
