Job summary

RapidRatings is seeking a deeply technical senior leader to own the cloud platform, resilience, security posture, and AI infrastructure powering RapidRatings' products. The role blends deep systems engineering with modern SRE practice, bridging low-level cloud architecture, high-scale distributed systems, and platform engineering.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience running production Kubernetes (EKS) at scale.
• Deep AWS stack knowledge (EKS/ECS, IAM, VPC, CloudFront, Lambda, RDS/DynamoDB) and IaC.
• Strong Linux, networking, and distributed-systems fundamentals.
• Experience implementing SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for tooling and automation.
• Experience with AI/LLM hosting patterns and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own AWS architecture and multi-region infrastructure for scale and resilience.
• Lead SRE to establish telemetry, SLOs, and blameless post-incident reviews.
• Build model-serving, routing pipelines, and governance for AI agents.
• Embed security controls and guardrails into infrastructure code.
• Design self-service patterns and drive cloud cost optimisation.
