Job summary
GCS Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Site Reliability Engineer for a hybrid role in Dublin, supporting enterprise cloud platforms used globally. You will focus on cloud infrastructure, systems engineering and platform reliability across multi-region production environments.
The ideal candidate has strong Linux expertise, production-grade Python experience and a track record of automating provisioning, deployment and operational workflows to improve reliability and scalability.
Qualifications
- Strong cloud infrastructure experience across AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Experience operating customer-facing or business-critical platforms.
- Proven automation expertise.
- Strong Linux and systems engineering knowledge.
- Experience writing production-quality Python code.
- Understanding of infrastructure scalability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Engineer highly available cloud infrastructure platforms
- Improve reliability, resilience and operational excellence
- Drive automation across provisioning, deployment and operational workflows
- Develop tools and services using Python and modern scripting technologies
- Support multi-region production environments
- Participate in incident analysis and root cause investigations
- Reduce operational overhead through automation and engineering improvements
