Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join a collaborative global engineering team focused on building, maintaining and evolving modern cloud infrastructure. This role balances hands-on engineering with operational support, emphasizing automation and reliable cloud solutions.

You will design, build and support cloud infrastructure, improve reliability and performance of production platforms, and develop tooling to simplify operations while collaborating with engineering

Qualifications

• Experience in Cloud, Infrastructure or Systems Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experience deploying cloud infrastructure in production environments.
• Understanding of automation and infrastructure management.
• Experience with scripting, ideally Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support cloud infrastructure across public cloud environments.
• Improve reliability, scalability and performance of production platforms.
• Develop automation and tooling to simplify operational processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues with engineering teams.
• Contribute to infrastructure design and implementation projects.
