Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Architect to lead the transformation of critical infrastructure services into a modern, cloud-native environment in Ireland.

You will design and implement production-grade Kubernetes platforms across AWS/Azure/GCP, drive Terraform-based automation and support multi-cloud migration strategies while shaping the future cloud operating model.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in platform engineering, SRE or cloud architecture roles.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud transformations.
• Strong Kubernetes production experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and modernisation of core infrastructure in cloud-native environments.
• Design and implement production-grade Kubernetes platforms across AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform and modern IaC practices.
• Design multi-cloud patterns and service networking solutions.
• Support migration from virtualised to cloud-native platforms.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies and tooling.
• Partner with engineering teams to boost resilience, scalability and platform reliability.
• Champion an everything-as-code approach across infra and operations.
