Job summary

Bank of Ireland invites applications for a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to drive the AI Platform roadmap and broader digital transformation. You will design secure, scalable cloud solutions across native cloud platforms, aligning with policy and security standards.

In this hybrid role, you’ll partner with the AI Centre of Excellence, technology partners and delivery teams to enable safe cloud adoption, cost optimisation and reliable platform maturity across the Bank.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud infrastructure and platform solutions that meet business needs while aligning with Bank policies and security standards.
• Provide practical guidance on cloud adoption, supporting teams and partners with solution design and implementation.
• Find opportunities to optimise cost, performance and innovation across public cloud platforms.
• Communicate architectural designs clearly to both technical and non-technical partners, embedding security by design.
• Create reusable patterns and guardrails to accelerate safe cloud adoption and support onboarding of new services related to AI.
