Job summary

Bank of Ireland seeks a Platform Owner for its AI Centre of Excellence to shape the vision and delivery of a scalable AI platform. You will lead a high‑calibre platform engineering team, ensure compliance and drive the adoption of reusable AI patterns across the enterprise.

The role emphasizes strategic roadmapping, cost governance and collaboration with the Cloud CoE to deliver resilient, secure and cost‑efficient AI services in a hybrid Dublin setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic roadmap and evolution of the BOI AI Platform as a shared enterprise service.
• Own the platform engineering team and set technical direction in partnership with the Cloud CoE.
• Ensure platform compliance with security, regulatory and architecture standards.
• Lead AI and cloud FinOps, including cost optimisation, capacity planning and budget governance.
• Oversee evaluation and onboarding of AI tooling, models and third‑party components, with strong documentation and governance.
