Job summary

DesignBuild Search are working closely with a leading Dublin engineering consultancy to recruit a Senior Civil Design Engineer. The role sits in Building & Infrastructure and covers residential, mixed-use, industrial and commercial projects for both private and public sector clients.

The successful candidate will join a strong team, design and manage project tasks, and contribute to contract drawings, specifications and tender submissions while adhering to ISO procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of contract specifications and drawings.
• Surveying and site inspections.
• Preparation and Review of preliminary designs and reports using a variety of computer packages and subsequent preparation of detailed design drawings and specifications.
• Contribute to the project team on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Direct communication and meetings with Clients.
• Implementing the companys ISO policies and procedures.
• Assist in the Preparation of tenders TPBN1_IJ

Due to a strong pipeline of work, they have an opportunity for a Senior Civil Design Engineer.The successful candidates will join a strong team of professionals in the Building & Infrastructure Division who cover a broad range of engineering and building projects for both private and public sector clients. Sectors: Houses and apartments

Key Requirements

• Minimum Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent 5 years of relevant work experience for the Design Civil Engineer role A minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience on residential projects 5+ years of experience for the Senior/LeadEngineer role Design Experience on building projects (residential, mixed-use developments, industrial and commercial) in the public & private sector Ability to achieve tight deadlines working as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Rev Revit, Bentley MicroStation & Rebar; Caddie & Utility programs for Drainage and HECRAS and Solidworks Excellent verbal and written (English) communication skills
