Job summary

Civil Engineer – Associate Director:

Our client is a highly respected and award-winning Engineering Consultancy in Dublin with offices across Ireland and the UK. They are seeking to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer to join their practice at Associate level. This role offers a great opportunity to a Senior Civil Engineer looking to take the next step in their career. They offer an excellent team environment with a very low turnover of staff

The successful Senior Civil Engineer will have 10-15 years’ experience working in the design and management of civil infrastructure for a variety of challenging projects (including multi-million euro residential and commercial projects). You will be responsible for leading projects from inception to completion with support from company directors when needed. You will be responsible for establishing the scope of and managing the delivery of all project deliverables including design, reports, leading a team whilst working closely with clients.

• €100M+ High density residential development – Dublin / Cork
• €100M+ Technical Due Diligence for Data Centre projects – Dublin/ Ireland
• €100M Data Centre Development – Dublin
• €50M Council office development – Dublin
• Mix of smaller residential schemes across Dublin region.
• Feasibility and due diligence studies for public and private Clients

Requirements

• The successful Civil Engineer should have 10 years’ experience (of which 5 years employed in Ireland) carrying out the design of drainage and civil infrastructure for residential and commercial projects.
• You must be Chartered with Engineers Ireland or equivalent.
• Experience with SuDS, flood risk assessments, feasibility studies is preferred
• Experience with UK and/or Ireland projects.
• Ideally have some client facing experience managing the civil engineering aspects of projects
