Job summary

UPMC Aut Even Hospital in Kilkenny is seeking a Senior Cardiac Physiologist for an 11-month fixed-term contract. Qualifications

• Experience performing and interpreting ECGs.
• Proficiency in stress testing and echocardiography.
• Experience with Holter and BP/Event monitoring.
• Experience with pacemaker and ICD implants and follow-up.
• Ability to maintain accurate reports and documentation.
• Supervisory responsibilities and teaching junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret ECGs, stress tests and Holter monitoring.
• Monitor BP, event monitors and analyze results.
• Perform and assist with pacemaker and ICD implants and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports for all procedures.
• Oversee day-to-day running of the Cardiology department in absence of Head of Department.
• Contribute to patient care and staff training.
