Job summary

Archer Recruitment is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable software within a large AI transformation programme in Ireland. You will contribute to greenfield projects and integrate AI agents into enterprise solutions, working with RAG pipelines and MCP-based tools.

The role requires strong hands-on C#/.NET skills, API/microservice experience, and a track record of delivering production-grade software in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' professional software engineering experience with hands-on development.
• Strong C# / .NET experience across modern .NET, APIs and distributed systems.
• 1-2 years' hands-on experience building AI agents, MCP and RAG.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, production-ready software solutions using C# and .NET.
• Work on greenfield applications and services within a large-scale AI transformation programme.
• Build and integrate AI agents into enterprise software solutions.
• Develop and work with RAG pipelines and AI-powered data retrieval.
• Build and integrate MCP-based tools and services.
• Work closely with AI and engineering specialists to turn ideas and prototypes into robust production solutions.
