Job summary

Archer Recruitment is seeking a Senior AI Engineer in Ireland to join a newly formed AI function on a 12-month contract at €650 per day.

You'll design and deliver production-grade Agentic AI solutions, owning architecture through to deployment, with autonomy to shape technology choices, work across AWS/Azure, Python backend systems, and enterprise integrations in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AI engineering experience with hands-on work on Agentic AI or MCP-based solutions.
• Strong Python and backend engineering experience.
• Experience with AWS or Azure.

A leading global organisation is making a significant investment in AI, creating a dedicated engineering function to turn AI opportunities into real business solutions.

Rather than joining an established team and maintaining an existing platform, you'll be coming in at an early stage — helping define how AI engineering is done across the organisation.

You'll work as part of a small, highly specialised team, with each engineer bringing a different area of expertise. It's an environment where you won't be confined to a narrow area of responsibility. You'll have the opportunity to influence architecture, experiment with emerging technologies, and take ideas all the way through to production.
