Job summary

Archer Recruitment is seeking a Senior AI Engineer in Ireland to join a newly formed AI function on a 12-month contract at €650 per day.

You'll design and deliver production-grade Agentic AI solutions, owning architecture through to deployment, with autonomy to shape technology choices, work across AWS/Azure, Python backend systems, and enterprise integrations in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AI engineering experience with hands-on work on Agentic AI or MCP-based solutions.
• Strong Python and backend engineering experience.
• Experience with AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop the architecture of the organisation's AI and agent platform.
• Design and implement MCP and A2A capabilities across the AI ecosystem.
• Engineer production-ready AI solutions that connect into existing enterprise technology.
• Bring together new, greenfield agentic technologies with established enterprise platforms.
• Make key technical decisions and help establish reusable engineering standards and best practices.
