Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland seeks a Senior Business Analyst with General Insurance domain experience for a 12-month contract to drive a critical process change initiative. You will map processes, gather requirements, and coordinate testing and UAT across multiple stakeholders.

The role requires at least 5 years as a BA, GI knowledge, and hands-on experience with process mapping tools such as Visio. You will partner with project managers to ensure alignment of business needs with technical solutions

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in regulated or complex environments.
• General Insurance domain knowledge (GI products, distribution/broker channels, underwriting, policy admin and servicing).
• Proven background in process mapping using tools such as Visio or similar.

Senior Business Analyst - General Insurance Background Required

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst on a contract basis (12 months) to support a critical business process change project which involves core General Insurances process enhancement changes. This role requires a candidate with strong process mapping capabilities and experience in project coordination and testing support.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and documentation of business processes across multiple departments.
• Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather and refine business requirements.
• Produce clear and concise process maps using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate closely with project managers to support planning, reporting, and coordination.
• Support the testing phase by developing test cases and assisting in execution and defect tracking.
• Ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
• Assist in change management and training materials preparation where needed.

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within regulated or complex environments.
• A background in General Insurance domain knowledge (GI products, distribution/broker channels, underwriting, policy admin and servicing) to challenge, simplify and recommend improvements.
• Proven background in process mapping using tools such as Visio or similar.
• A background in Process improvements.
• Exposure to project delivery cycles, with involvement in project coordination or management activities.
• Hands-on experience in supporting testing cycles, including UAT and functional testing.

Educational Requirements

• A third-level qualification in Business, IT, or a related discipline.
• Long term day rate contract role.
