Job summary

Elusav recruitment seeks a BIM Manager in Leixlip, Ireland to lead BIM strategy, teams and delivery for MEP systems. The role acts as the central coordination point between engineering disciplines, construction teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.

You will coordinate across disciplines, manage models, drawings, and QA/QC, and drive BIM protocols and training for junior staff. This senior position requires clear leadership and strong communication to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven 4 years’ experience leading BIM projects or teams.
• Degree in Engineering or BIM qualification (level 3+).
• Experience with MEP systems and coordination.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership and direction to the BIM team.
• Development of co-ordinated 3D mechanical & electrical models from base information.
• Management of drawing registers and standards.
• Production of GA’s and detailing sheets and prefabrication isometrics.
• Design and detailing of services support systems.
• Ensure project deliverables and deadlines are met in accordance with project schedules.
• Attend design, client & site meetings as required.
• Assistance in development of BIM protocols, workflows, and systems.
• Training and mentoring of new entry staff on completion of training modules.
• Performance review of BIM team.
• Provide reports on schedule and progress to senior managers.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance.

Elusav recruitment are currently recruiting a BIM Manager to join one of Europe's leading Engineering contractors in Leixlip, Ireland.

It’s a broad senior role covering BIM strategy, team leadership, coordination and technical delivery with a primary focus on mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems. The BIM Manager position acts as the central coordination point between engineering disciplines, construction teams, vendors, and client stakeholders, ensuring digital deliverables meet both project and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide project leadership and direction to the BIM team.
• Development of co-ordinated 3D mechanical & electrical models, from base information – Base Design, PID’s, Scan & point cloud data.
• Management of drawing registers and standards.
• Production of GA’s and detailing sheets and prefabrication isometrics.
• Design and detailing of services support systems.
• Ensure project deliverables and deadlines are met in accordance with agreed project schedules.
• Manage gated process milestones of BIM detailing process.
• Problem solving and resolution of co-ordination and design roadblocks.
• Attend design, client & site meetings as required.
• Organize and attend alignment meetings with other trade partners.
• Assistance in the overall development of the BIM protocols, workflows, and systems.
• Training and mentoring of new entry staff on completion of training modules.
• Performance review of BIM team.
• Ensure integration of models into federated model for overall co-ordination.
• Provide reports on schedule and progress to senior managers.
• Technical report writing.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Clash management on all systems.

Requirements:

• 4 years’ experience as BIM Lead/Manager.
• Relevant 3rd level Engineering or 3rd level BIM qualification.
• MEP Experience.
• Excellent negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Motivated individual with good communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of routing mechanical or electrical systems.
