Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Back-end Engineer (Kotlin/JVM) based in Ireland to contribute to scalable SaaS solutions. You will own and shape services, APIs, and architectures across the JVM ecosystem, working in a remote-friendly, multicultural environment.

Expect collaboration with product managers and engineers to deliver high-performance software. Key activities include designing distributed services, implementing robust APIs, and enhancing test coverage while adopting modern cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and JVM-based backend development.
• Experience designing scalable SaaS backends and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of containerization, microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud computing.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, AWS services, Elasticsearch, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to development of SaaS backend solutions.
• Design and evolve software architecture for scalability and reliability.
• Build and maintain distributed services and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Write clean, well-tested code and maintain a robust codebase.
