Job summary

GAAP Search Solutions LTD is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to lead external audits in Ireland. You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery, managing senior stakeholder relationships and driving audit quality and profitability.

You will mentor junior staff, review complex audit issues, and lead tenders for new engagements, working closely with Partners on larger, multi-entity audits.

Qualifications

• Significant and recent experience as a Director in an external audit capacity.
• Experience with systems/controls testing and substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, and statutory accounts.
• Experience within a Big 4, mid-tier firm, or government/public sector audit department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, planning, co-ordination, and control of audit engagements to ensure quality and profitability.
• Direct and supervise team members, review significant audit areas, and provide coaching and mentoring.
• Project manage all audit delivery facets including timelines, briefings, supervision, and Partner reviews.
