Job summary

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with eligibility to work in Ireland (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent).

• Strong technical expertise in Irish/UK GAAP (FRS 102), IFRS and ISA standards.

Responsibilities

About Your New Job

• As an Audit Senior, you will lead and execute external audit assignments for clients in industries such as financial services, technology, manufacturing, and professional services.
• You will manage the full audit process: planning, risk assessment, fieldwork execution, and completion, ensuring compliance with audit standards (ISAs), FRS 102, and IFRS reporting requirements.
• You will supervise and coach audit juniors and trainees, provide constructive feedback, and support staff development.
• You will act as the point of contact for clients’ stakeholders, building strong client relationships, addressing queries, and providing business-focused recommendations.
• You will oversee engagement budgets and deadlines, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery in line with client expectations.

What Skills You Need

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Minimum 3 years’ practice experience in external audit, ideally with exposure to audit assignments for a variety of SMEs and/or corporate groups.
• Strong technical expertise in Irish/UK GAAP (FRS 102), IFRS, and ISA standards, with hands-on audit file preparation and review experience.
• Proficient in audit software (e.g., CaseWare, ProSystem fx, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills, with a proven record in supervising audit teams and projects.
