Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland seeks an Associate Director to lead the Asset Management audit practice in Dublin or Cork. You will oversee delivery of complex audits, coach managers, and drive business development across a high‑quality client portfolio including funds and SPVs.

The role combines technical excellence in IFRS/Irish GAAP with strong leadership, collaboration across the Grant Thornton network, and a focus on client relationships.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in Asset Management / Financial Services audit in a professional services environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, Irish GAAP and funds‑related reporting.
• Proven experience managing complex client portfolios and leading audit teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a significant and complex portfolio of Asset Management audit clients.
• Lead the planning, execution and completion of audits across multiple entities and structures.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Boards, Fund Managers and Finance Directors, building strong client relationships.
