Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is hiring an Associate Director to lead the Asset Management audit portfolio in Dublin or Cork. You will drive client delivery, people leadership and business development across a high‑quality asset management client base, including funds and fund management companies, with Partners and the global Grant Thornton network.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• 7+ years of Asset Management/Financial Services audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Irish GAAP and funds reporting.
• Proven experience leading audit teams and complex portfolios.
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship ability.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a significant and complex Asset Management audit portfolio across multiple entities.
• Oversee planning, execution and completion of audits with high quality and regulatory compliance.
• Act as trusted advisor to Boards, Fund Managers and Finance Directors, building durable relationships.
• Provide technical leadership on IFRS, Irish GAAP and funds‑related accounting matters.
