Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking an Associate Director for Asset Management in Dublin or Cork. You will lead a high-quality portfolio, oversee complex audits and provide strong client relationships while working with Partners across the global network.

The role demands senior leadership, deep IFRS/IFRS GAAP knowledge, and a focus on delivery, risk management and business development within Financial Services.

Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified.
• 7+ years of Asset Management / Financial Services audit experience.
• Strong IFRS, Irish GAAP and funds-related reporting knowledge.
• Proven ability to manage complex client portfolios and lead audit teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Client & Engagement Leadership: Own a significant Asset Management audit portfolio and lead audits across entities.
• Technical & Risk Leadership: Provide IFRS/GAAP guidance and review key audit judgments.
• People Leadership & Development: Lead, coach and mentor engagement teams; support performance and succession planning.
• Business Development & Practice Growth: Support growth strategy, cross-selling and market initiatives in Asset Management.
