Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an Assistant Manager in Financial Services Audit to join our Dublin team (and another location). You will lead audit delivery for Banking, Insurance and Asset Management clients, supervise teams, and build strong client relationships across a global network.

The role offers flexible, hybrid working arrangements to support work-life balance and exposure to high-profile engagements within the firm.

Qualifications

ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified with a minimum of 4 years post-qualified experience.
Strong background in audit in financial services: Banking, Insurance, Asset Management.
Proven leadership and client relationship management.
Experience in a Big 4 or Top 10 firm is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of audits for Banking, Insurance, and Asset Management clients and design tailored audit strategies.
Supervise audit teams, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality work.
Build and maintain strong client relationships in Banking, Insurance, or Asset Management sectors.
Own audit planning and execution from inception to completion.
Ensure regulatory compliance and stay updated on financial services developments.
Identify efficiency improvements in audit processes and add value to clients.
Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated services.
