Job summary

Henry J Lyons in Dublin is looking for a confident Senior Architectural Technologist to join our multi-disciplinary design team on major projects. The role blends autonomy with team support to deliver high-quality drawings and compliant technical documentation.

With 8+ years post-graduate experience, you will lead on architectural detailing, BIM modelling, and co-ordination across disciplines, while applying Irish building regulations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of post-graduate experience in architectural tech.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit; BIM knowledge essential.
• Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and planning laws.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

We are looking for a confident and forward-thinking Senior Architectural Technologist to join our Dublin studio and contribute to a multi-disciplinary major projects design team.

As a practice of over 250 people across Dublin and Cork and working across a range of scales and typologies, we're defined by the quality of the work we do.

Job Requirements:

• 8+ years’post graduate experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard design software. Familiarity with 3D modelling and BIM is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of Irish building regulations, planning laws, and construction processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• High level of attention to detail in producing accurate drawings and technical documentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot design and technical issues, and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• Excellent organisational skills, the ability to plan and work to agreed timelines, a thorough, diligent approach to work and driven to see things through to completion
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements, and work within a fast-paced environment
• Proficient user of software packages relevant to specific tasks, with the ability to engage with various packages
