Job summary

Global Professional Consultants in Ireland seeks a Senior Architect to lead architectural projects from concept through to delivery. You will produce technical drawings, coordinate planning and tender packages, and manage multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires 7+ years’ experience, proficiency in Revit, and solid knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and BCAR. A hybrid working arrangement is available following probation, with strong career progression and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience delivering projects in the Irish construction/regulatory environment.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR and planning requirements.
• Experience coordinating planning, tender and construction packages.
• Excellent technical, project management and coordination abilities.
• Professional communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver architectural projects across all stages from design to completion.
• Prepare and coordinate detailed planning, tender and construction packages.
• Produce high-quality technical drawings and project information using Revit.
• Ensure compliance with Irish Regulations, BCAR and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
• Carry out Contract Administration duties and attend project meetings.
• Manage project programmes, deadlines and technical deliverables.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver architectural projects across all stages, from initial design through to completion
• Prepare and coordinate detailed planning, tender and construction packages
• Produce high-quality technical drawings and project information using Revit
• Ensure all work complies with Irish Building Regulations, BCAR and relevant industry standards
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal design teams
• Carry out Contract Administration duties and attend project meetings
• Manage project programmes, deadlines and technical deliverables
• Support the successful delivery of projects across a range of sectors

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience delivering projects within the Irish construction and regulatory environment
• Strong working knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, planning requirements and relevant standards
• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a closely related discipline
• Membership of RIAI
• Excellent proficiency in Revit
• Proven experience preparing and coordinating planning, tender and construction packages
• Strong technical, project management and coordination abilities
• Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland
