Job summary

Global Professional Consultants seeks a Registered Architect to lead design and delivery on diverse Irish projects. Hybrid working is available, with ownership of projects in a supportive, growing practice.

The role requires a recognised architecture qualification with RIAI registration, at least 3 years’ experience, and strong Revit skills. You will coordinate with engineers and specialists and ensure compliance with Irish regulations.

Qualifications

• Recognised architecture qualification with current RIAI registration.
• Minimum 3 years of architectural practice experience in Ireland.
• Proficiency in Revit and strong AutoCAD knowledge.
• Understanding of BCAR, Irish planning legislation and approval processes.
• Experience preparing planning applications, tender packages and construction docs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a hybrid team.
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland.

A well-established and growing architectural practice is seeking a Registered Architect to join its team. With fully hybrid working available, this opportunity offers a varied project portfolio and the chance to take ownership of projects within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initial concept through planning, detailed design and construction
• Prepare and review drawings, technical specifications and tender documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
• Coordinate architectural information with structural engineers, M&E consultants and specialist designers
• Ensure designs comply with Irish Building Regulations, planning requirements and relevant standards
• Support BCAR compliance, including coordinating documentation and inspection records
• Lead design team meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and contractors
• Attend site inspections, monitor progress and resolve technical queries when required
• Manage project programmes, deliverables and quality standards

Requirements

• Recognised qualification in Architecture and current RIAI registration
• Minimum of 3 years’ architectural practice experience, including practical experience applying Irish Building Regulations
• Proficiency in Revit and strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Sound understanding of BCAR, Irish planning legislation and statutory approval processes
• Experience preparing planning applications, tender packages and construction documentation
• Strong technical detailing skills and knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and communicating directly with clients
• Understanding of contract administration and site inspection procedures
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within a hybrid team
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland
