Job summary

You'll collaborate across product, engineering, and data teams to translate business needs into robust APIs, secure architectures, and reliable services, mentoring peers and upholding Mastercard standards.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of software engineering experience with a strong AI/ML focus.
• Proficiency in Python and building scalable backend systems.
• Experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain) and RAG-based apps.
• Experience designing knowledge bases with vector search.
• Familiarity with AWS, Cloudera, and Databricks ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of APIs and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver AI-powered solutions using LLMs and RAG.
• Build enterprise knowledge bases with vector search for semantic retrieval.
• Develop LLM-driven applications with LangChain and orchestration.
• Implement MCP or equivalent model interaction frameworks.
• Architect scalable cloud and data solutions on AWS and Databricks.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to translate needs.
• Develop robust APIs and microservices for frontend integrations.
• Ensure data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor model performance and production reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
