Mastercard Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver AI-powered systems and enterprise-grade solutions. You will work on LLM-based architectures, retrieval-augmented generation, and knowledge bases, building production-ready software that scales across cloud data platforms.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to implement APIs, microservices, and vector-search powered experiences while upholding Mastercard's security and governance standards.

Formación

• Strong experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML and distributed systems.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Python and building scalable backend systems.
• Experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks for AI applications.
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain) and building RAG-based systems.
• Knowledge of vector search and embedding models.
• Cloud platform experience, especially AWS; familiarity with Cloudera and Databricks.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deliver AI-powered solutions leveraging LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Build and maintain enterprise knowledge bases with vector search capabilities.
• Develop LLM-driven applications using LangChain, including prompt engineering and orchestration.
• Implement and integrate MCP or equivalent model interaction frameworks.
• Architect scalable, secure solutions across cloud/data ecosystems (AWS, Cloudera, Databricks).
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to translate business needs into AI-enabled solutions.
• Develop and maintain robust APIs and microservices for AI apps and frontend integrations.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Monitor and optimize model performance, reliability, and scalability in production.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
