Job summary

IT Search in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Risk and Finance Technology team on a hybrid 3 days on-site arrangement.

You will lead solution designs and build AI-enabled workflow automations using Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Python, designing scalable services and mentoring juniors. This 6-month initial contract has a strong likelihood of extension, with candidates needing 5+ years of enterprise software experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering enterprise-grade software in regulated environments.
• Strong Python development and REST API, JSON, and web services experience.
• Proven ownership of technical architecture and design for medium-to-large initiatives.
• Experience conducting peer code reviews and establishing best practices in Agile environments.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement Copilot Studio agents, tools, actions, orchestration workflows, and enterprise automation solutions.
• Develop Python-based backend services and enterprise integrations via REST APIs, JSON, and OpenAPI/Swagger specs.
• Lead technical design activities, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with BAs, product owners, and engineering teams during sprint planning to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
