Job summary

CPL in Dublin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a Tier 1 banking client's Enterprise Risk & Finance Tech programme. You will design and deliver AI-enabled workflow automation using Copilot Studio and Power Platform, and own critical integrations across the enterprise.

This hands-on role blends solution architecture, software development, and technical leadership, with mentoring and collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise software engineering experience.
• Strong Python development background.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI and API documentation.
• Proficient in JSON and modern integration architectures.
• Experience owning technical design and delivery in large projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI-powered workflow automation solutions using Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
• Build, configure, and support Copilot Studio agents, actions, tools, and workflows.
• Develop enterprise-grade integrations via REST APIs and JSON payloads.
• Create supporting automation services, APIs, and backend components in Python.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with stakeholders.
• Lead solution design activities ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Support sprint planning, estimations, and delivery.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
