Job summary

Intercom is seeking a Senior AI Deployment Consultant to lead the largest, most complex customer deployments, blending project management with hands-on Intercom configuration, including Fin. You will guide customers to value quickly, setting direction for AI impact and collaborating with engineers for advanced integrations.

You’ll drive the deployment strategy, manage timelines, and ensure measurable outcomes while working across Sales, CS, Engineering, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in customer-facing implementation, deployment, or professional services roles in SaaS/AI.
• Proven success managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong technical aptitude for configuring software platforms and discussing integrations, APIs, and data flows.
• Excellent project management skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across executives and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment programs for large customers and ensure timely implementation.
• Define project scope, success criteria, and timelines aligned with customer goals.
• Act as primary contact for customers during implementation and manage communications.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product to design deployment strategies.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to translate requirements into technical and project plans.
• Perform hands-on configuration of Intercom features and integrations.
• Coordinate readiness activities, data migrations, and security reviews.
• Track metrics like time-to-value, automation rates, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Product & R&D to surface feedback and improve methodologies.
• Contribute to deployment services templates and best practices.
