Job summary

Northern Trust in Ireland is seeking a Senior Consultant – AI and Data Specialist within the Chief Control Office to design and implement the firm’s internal control architecture, taxonomy, inventory and quality standards.

The role requires deep AI and data experience, a delivery-focused mindset and strong communication to collaborate with risk partners and senior leaders on high-profile initiatives in a fast-paced global environment.

Qualifications

• Deep AI and data experience to drive efficiency and quality.
• Experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools desirable.
• Delivery-focused mindset gained through project or program management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define group-wide control architecture including taxonomy and inventory.
• Manage control inventory and quality measures.
• Oversee governance and reporting of the control inventory.
• Set up AI and data architecture to drive team activities.
• Use AI to drive efficiency and quality in initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for automated controls and/or machine learning.
• Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line risk and control partners.
