Job summary

EY Ireland seeks a Senior Manager to lead the AI Architecture & Engineering practice for Financial Services. You will design enterprise AI solutions, define architecture standards, and drive ethical, compliant AI programs across the organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering leadership, executive engagement, and scalable AI platform delivery, with a focus on governance and pre-sales support.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in designing production AI solutions for financial services.
• Proven track record as a client-facing AI architecture consultant.
• Experience with LLM orchestration and multi-step planning.
• Strong knowledge of EU AI Act and regulatory alignment.
• Experience with cloud platforms and MLOps tools.
• Design experience for evaluation frameworks and release gates.
• Financial services industry experience preferred.
• Advanced communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape technical AI policies and architecture to drive competitive advantage.
• Lead executive workshops to identify high-value AI use cases and adoption roadmaps.
• Translate business challenges into compliant technical plans with governance.
• Support pre-sales by structuring and estimating complex AI projects.
• Lead training and platform expertise development across teams.
• Architect multi-step autonomous agent systems using LLMs and vector stores.
• Set QA processes for AI and MLOps workflows.
• Evaluate AI tools and platforms for performance and cost.
• Ensure ethical AI strategies, minimizing bias and privacy risks.
• Maintain thorough records of methodologies and recommendations.
• Coach junior staff and foster learning.
