Job summary

Barden | B Corp in Cork, Ireland seeks an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst to own the full AR cycle and drive process improvements. You will invoice customers, chase payments and support period-end activities while leveraging automation and AI to streamline workflows.

You’ll collaborate with Sales and Revenue Operations to report on ACV, renewals and churn, and you’ll help refine controls and data quality across the Finance function.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, O2C, Finance Operations or a similar environment.
• Strong invoicing, collections and reconciliations experience.
• Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills and general systems capability.
• Process-driven and analytical with excellent attention to detail.
• Ownership mindset and ability to drive issues through to resolution.
• Strong communication with Finance, Sales, Revenue Operations and customers.
• Interest in technology, automation and AI and willingness to challenge current processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end AR process including invoicing, cash collection and reconciliations.
• Manage AR ageing, follow up on balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor DSO and address high-risk overdue accounts.
• Support ACV reporting with Sales and Revenue Operations for renewals and churn.
• Assist month-end close, bank reconciliations and audits.
• Reconcile AR, ACV, invoicing and revenue data; investigate anomalies.
• Review processes, identify inefficiencies and strengthen controls.
• Drive O2C/AR improvements and automation using AI tools.
• Provide cover across the Finance team on request.

I’m delighted to be working on a really interesting opportunity for an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst to join a growing, technology-led business in Cork.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys owning the full AR process, but also wants to have a genuine impact on how a Finance function operates. It’s not just about processing invoices and chasing payments, there’s a strong focus here on process improvement, automation, data and AI, with the opportunity to use tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to make Finance processes more efficient.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end AR process, including:

• Customer invoicing, cash collection, payment allocation and reconciliations.
• Managing the AR ageing report, following up outstanding balances and resolving payment discrepancies.
• Monitoring DSO and proactively addressing high-risk or overdue accounts.
• Working closely with Sales and Revenue Operations on Annual Contract Value (ACV) reporting, including new business, renewals, upsells, downsells and churn.
• Supporting month-end close, bank reconciliations and audit requirements.
• Reconciling AR, ACV, invoicing and revenue data and investigating unusual items.
• Reviewing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies and strengthening controls.
• Driving O2C and AR process improvements and automation, using technology and AI to reduce manual work.
• Supporting wider Finance projects and providing cover across the team when required.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

You’ll ideally have:

• 3+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, O2C, Finance Operations or a similar environment.
• Strong practical experience across invoicing, collections and reconciliations.
• Good Excel / Google Sheets skills and strong general systems capability.
• A process-driven and analytical approach, with excellent attention to detail.
• Someone who takes ownership and is comfortable following issues through to resolution.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with Finance, Sales, Revenue Operations and customers.
• A genuine interest in technology, automation and AI, and a willingness to challenge how things are currently done.
