Job summary

Hollister Incorporated is seeking an experienced accounting leader in Ballina, Ireland, to drive day-to-day general accounting, statutory compliance, and interaction with external service providers to ensure audit readiness. You will lead a team, coordinate across functions, and strengthen internal controls while delivering timely financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of related experience.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA) and/or MBA preferred.
• ERP experience, preferably SAP; experience with close tools and process documentation.
• Experience with multiple reporting frameworks (US GAAP and IFRS).
• Business-level English; additional language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach an accounting team; set priorities and provide feedback.
• Manage month-end and year-end closes and prepare journal entries and accruals.
• Oversee GL activities and sub-ledgers (AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, intercompany).
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations and timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate statutory reporting and tax compliance with stakeholders.
• Prepare close status and management reporting for Finance leadership.
• Support audits and remediation actions as needed.
• Collaborate with FP&A on OPEX planning and narratives.
